What are your best childhood memories?? Going on adventures? Building dens? Making magical potions?…

Give your child a day to remember. Book a Muddy Feet Outdoor Party.

We are pleased to be able to offer our unique outdoor parties again from September 2020.

All our parties last for two hours and are run by a fully qualified Forest School Practitioner, holding an Outdoor First Aid Qualification and full DBS (formerly CRB check).

Parties are usually held at St Peter’s Church Centre in Tollerton. Where possible, the whole party will be held outdoors, so children must come dressed appropriately. If required an indoor space can be hired for an additional cost. We are also happy to host parties  at different outdoor locations, so please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have  a different venue in mind.

The Forest School Leader will take full lead in all bookings, but it is the adult making the booking who has responsibility for the children. Due to the unique nature of our Outdoor Parties and the type of activities that we offer, adults staying to help are expected to join in with the activity and help where needed (e.g. helping children to collect natural materials for den building etc.)

Cost includes personalised invitations plus parents information slip and a kit list to send to your guests. We also offer goodie bags at extra cost if required.

We ask for confirmation of numbers attending a week prior to the party, when we will send you out the final balance, which is due by the date of the party.

” Brilliant party for my nephew’s 4th birthday. Even our 11 month old could get involved! Highly recommend Muddy Feet to anyone.”

– Hannah O’Dwyer

COVID PROCEDURES

In order to make our sessions and parties Covid-19 secure, we have put many new procedures and policies in place. These include a new handwashing station in the woods, hand gel, social distancing measures and having less equipment out. It also includes having much smaller groups and children being provided with their own kit bag to use at the session to minimise sharing of resources. For our parties there will also be the option to purchase the kit bags so that each child can keep it after the party.

We will be having much smaller groups for our parties and (depending on the age of the children) we may be asking parents to stay. For younger children (age 6 and under) we will be asking one parent to stay with each child to assist with social distancing.

We will provide a consent form prior to the party for families to fill in and details of each child attending will be kept for Track and Trace purposes. We are limited to a total of 30 people (including myself and the birthday family) so would suggest a maximum number of around 12-14. For children age 7+ parents do not need to stay but we will have a maximum number of 15 (the same as holiday clubs etc.)

We are constantly reviewing our procedures in light of the current situation but this is what we have in place at present.

Our Party Packages

We have three different party packages – our Holly party which is our standard two hour outdoor party on a theme of your choice, our Ash party which includes a campfire and marshmallow toasting and our Oak party which includes a campfire, marshmallow toasting and individual party bags for each child.

“Excellent birthday party for 7 year olds, lots to do and kept them interested for the whole time. The kids could choose their activities and received really good feedback from other parents who had thought it risky to do an Outdoor party in January!”
